Ted Fox writes funny things, except for this bio, which is mildly amusing at best. His second novel, Date Week, is forthcoming in June 2024 from Lake Union, which published his first, Schooled, in 2022. He is also the author of the joke book You Know Who’s Awesome? (Not You).

Ted lives in the Midwest with his wife, their two kids, and two German shorthaired pointers who are frankly baffled there aren’t more dogs in his books. Having once solved The New York Times crossword puzzle 46 days in a row (not a joke), he is the recipient of a prestigious “No. 1 Dad” keychain.
